Sawiris and the Salafi Micky Mouse

This is the picture that angered the Salafis and made them take Naguib Sawiris to court and accuse him of insulting Islam.

First of all its a ridiculous accusation because he did not insult Islam. He poked fun at the absurd way the salafis dress. Completely different things. If you think that salafis dress like clowns you are not insulting Islam.

Even the radical Muslim Brothers dont dress like the idiot salafis and they dont call for women to wear the oppressive niqab.

By posting this picture Sawiris highlighted something very important, which is how the salafis are trying to enforce their stupidity on us and demonize anyone who would dare to object.

The salafis are adopting the attire of their fellow idiots, the Saudi wahabis which according to them is what prophet Mohammad and his followers used to wear 1400 years ago.

But as the late and great Farag Fouda explains in this clip, there is no such thing as "Islamic dress". The prophet used to wear the clothes that were common in his days. Even his enemies used to wear the same clothes.

Basically what the salafis are trying here is to force their twisted ideology on us and to incite and agitate against Christians and the fact that their deranged lawsuit was accepted by the judicial is worrying.

Promotion of Virtue My Ass

A facsist facebook group was created today under the title of "The Committee of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Egypt".

I am disgusted because something stinks.

Sandmonkey alluded to a very alarming fact in his latest blog post. He mentioned that an "Egyptian Bloc" campaign operative was arrested in Suez by the military police at a polling station for filming the army promoting the Salafi Nour Party (with a big banner carrying the Noor Party slogan being placed on the side of an Army Truck) and his film was confiscated.

Is SCAF playing with fire? Promoting the Salafis to force Egyptians to choose between military rule and Salafi rule?

If this is the case then you have several players conspiring against democracy and freedom in Egypt:

1) SCAF with its huge vested political and economic interests.
2) The Salafis who ultimately want to turn Egypt to a Taleban state.
3) The Saudi Wahabis who are funding the Salafis and share with them (and SCAF) the desire to torpedo the revolution and kill democratic aspirations in Egypt.

What will happen when the vice and virtue scum bags start operating on Egyptian streets?

I remember an incident that happened to me in the mid 80's when I was a student at Cairo university. I was approached by a group of 4 fellow students who were members of the Islamic Group (El Gamaa El Islameya). They asked me to join them in the mosque for prayers, but I said no. They got aggressive and started directing verbal abuse at me. I started shouting and made it clear that I was not going to give in to their bullying and they backed off.

If you give the likes of these wankers a free hand to promote their shit in the streets it will get ugly and I fear that this is what some want.

الأزبكية

قتل إنسان مصري (سائق ميكروباص) مساء أمس في الأزبكية وهناك روايتان لما حدث.

الرواية الأولي تقول إن القتيل اعتدى بالضرب على ضابط وأن المارة تعاطفوا مع الضابط فقتلوا السائق وهي رواية غير مقنعة بالمرة، فأنا شخصيا لا يمكن أن أتعاطف مع أي ضابط شرطة لو ضربه سائق ميكروباص.

الرواية الثانية وهي الأقرب للواقع تقول إن السائق قتل على أيدي ضباط وجنود قسم الأزبكية.

والمزعج في الأمر أن التلفزيون المصري الحقير وأغلب وسائل الإعلام ظلت تروج الأكاذيب والروايات الخيالية لجريمة قتل السائق بما يوحي أننا لا نزال نعيش في عصر مبارك والعادلي وصفوت الشريف.

Hamza Al Khatib

Hamza was a 13 year old from boy from a village near Deraa,, Syria. On April 29 he was arrested and on May 27 his mutilated body was handed to his family along with a threats of harming them if they spoke out. The dead body of this child was subjected to horrific injuries:

Bullet wounds on his arms
Black eyes
Cuts
Marks consistent with electric shocks
Bruises
Whip marks
His neck had been broken
His penis was cut off.

Hamza's 65 year old father, his uncle and his brother were detained after his body was released.

How can a human being do this to a child and a family. There are no words to describe Bashar Al Assad and his mob. I feel sick as I am typing this post.

الأخوان المسلين أم الخونة المسلمين؟

حتى لا تغيب عن الأذهان حقيقة هذه الجماعة الحقيرة:

يوم 20 يناير أعلنت جماعة الأخوان المسلمين أنها لن تشارك في "مظاهرات" 25 يناير

يوم 6 فبراير حضر الأخوان جلسة الحوار الذي دعا له عمر سليمان في الوقت الذي كان الثوار صامدين في التحرير وفي كل شوارع مصر ومصرين على رحيل مبارك وسليمان

يوم 27 مايو قاطع الأخوان جمعة الغضب الثانية ووصفوها بجمعة الوقيعة

الآن أصبح من الواضح تماما أن المجلس العسكري والأخوان طامعون في السلطة ولا يريدون ديمقراطية ولا حرية ويدعمهم لتحقيق أهدافهم وللاستفادة معهم مجموعة من الدعاة السفهاء مثل المتخلف عقليا عمرو خالد والعوا وعمارة وغيرهم من البهاليل.

سليم العوا العنصري المتعصب

قال محمد سليم العوا في ندوة أقيمت أمس بجامع رابعة العدوية:

أرفض بشدة وجود حزب شيعى ومصر لا يصلح إلا أن يحكمها إسلامى

وقال أيضاً:

إن منصب رئاسة الجمهورية يجب أن لا يحصل عليه إلا من يستحقه.

هذا العوا يطلق على نفسه لقب "مفكر إسلامي". وهو لقب مضلل لأن الجزء الاول منه غير صحيح فالعوا وأمثاله لا يستحقون من الألقاب سوى المتعصب أو العنصري أو المتخلف.

إذا سمحنا للأخوان بتأسيس حزب فلماذا لا نسمح للشيعة بل للمسيحيين والوهابيين وغيرهم من الفئات؟

وعندما يقول العنصري سليم العوا ان الإسلاميين فقط هم من يصلحون للرئاسة ألا يناقض بذلك كلامه عن ان الرئاسة يجب ان تكون لمن يستحقها؟ أليس من الممكن ان يكون هناك مسيحي مصري أقدر من اي مسلم على تقلد هذا المنصب؟.

ويقول العوا أيضاً إنه "لن يتأخر" عن تولي الرئاسة إذا طلب منه الشعب...

ارحل يا رئيس جامعة القاهرة

في سبتمبر 2010 منح رئيس جامعة القاهرة المنافق حسام كامل سوزان مبارك الدكتوراه الفخرية في علم الاجتماع. وقال رئيس الجامعة المحترم:

إن السيدة سوزان مبارك جمعت بين المعرفة في العلوم الاجتماعية والعلوم السياسية في المجالين الدولي والمحلي ولها بصمات وأنشطة متميزة في كل أنشطة التنمية البشرية، كما أن لها دورًا رائدًا في العمل الثقافي ومبادرة المليون كتاب، وأصبح مشروع القراءة للجميع الذي استمر 25 عامًا علامة من علامات النهضة في المجتمع

ولا يزال هذا البغل في منصبه يمارس القمع ضد الطلبة.

مصطفى الفقي الكذاب

بدأ مصطفى الفقي يمارس الدعارة السياسية في الستينيات من خلال دوره المعروف في التنظيم الطليعي

ووصل في عهد مبارك لمنصب مستشار الرئيس. في 2010 نجح الفقي في انتخابات مجلس الشعب بالتزوير ووقف في المجلس كما يظهر هذا الفيديو، ليدافع عن مد قانون الطوارئ.

كيف يتجرأ مصطفى الفقي ويأتي الآن ليقول إن:

الحزب الوطني كان يحاول تشويه صورته أمام الرأي العام داخل مصر على خلفية الخلافات التي كانت بينه وبين قيادات الحزب الوطني وأرائه في السياسات التي كان يطرحها الحزب حينذاك.

ولم يشرح مصطفى الفقي ما هي هذه الخلافات التي كانت بينه وبين قيادات الحزب الوطني؟؟؟

والآن يريد الفقي أن يخلف عمرو موسى كأمين عام للجامعة العربية.

إن الشخص الوضيع يسعى دائما للانتساب للمؤسسات الوضيعة كما تتهافت الضباع والعقبان على أكل الجيف

صعوبة التحاور مع أصحاب الفكر الديني

تتناقض أفكار المتحمسين للدولة الدينية تماماً مع مبادئ الديمقراطية والتعددية.

فهم يتصورون أنهم على جانب الحق المطلق وأن من يختلف معهم كافر ويريد تشويه الدين.

لا يقبلون الاختلاف ولا يحاولون فهم آراء الآخرين.

من السخافة أن نتصور أن من يتبنون الدعوة للدولة الدينية يمكن أن يلتزموا بقواعد الديمقراطية.

فالحوار عندهم يبدأ وينتهي بذكر آية قرآنية أو حديث... واعترض بقى على كلام ربنا

السلفية مرض نفسي خطير يتحول المصاب به لكراهية كل القيم السامية مثل الحرية وإعمال العقل والمساواة والإخاء والتسامح وفي حالاتها المتأخرة يكره المريض الحياة كلها والناس جميعاً. السلفية يمكن علاجها بمضادات الاكتئاب وجلسات العلاج النفسي ولكن إذا تركت دون علاج يمكن أن تؤدي بالمريض للانتحار.

المشكلة أن السلفي عندما ينتحر لا يكتفي بقتل نفسه وإنما يحاول قتل أكبر عدد من الأبرياء معه.

والأخوان المسلمون ليسوا أفضل من السلفيين الأوباش، فأجندتهم واحدة ولكن أسلوبهم مختلف.

من حقي أن أتشفى من مبارك

يقول عصام شرف إن محاكمة مبارك ونجليه لا تعني التشفي

وأنا أقول إن هذا كلام فارغ. لماذا؟ لأن مبارك وأولاده وعصابته قتلوا وسرقوا المصريين ودمروا مصر على مدى عقود.

التشفي فعل مشتق من الشفاء. ومن يتعرض للظلم الشديد يشعر بالألم الشديد والمرارة والغضب من ظالمه ومن حق المظلوم أن يتشفى من هذا الألم بمحاكمة ظالمه وبمعاقبته على كل ما فعله بمصر والمصريين.

أريد أن يحاكم مبارك محاكمة عادلة وأريد أن أتشفى من دين أمه هو كل المجرمين والمعرصين الآخرين

عصام العريان يكشف قذارة الأخوان

عصام العريان مسئول المكتب السياسي لجماعة الأخوان المسلمين الفاشية المتطرفة تحدث في مؤتمر بجامعة القاهرة. وقال هذا المتعصب إن الشعب المصري "إسلامي فقط" وانتقد من "يتهمون الشعب المصري بالعلمانية".

يا عريان، أولا العلمانية ليست تهمة وإنما التعصب وفرض المعتقدات على الآخرين هو جريمة لا تقل عن ما فعله مبارك بنا على مدى الثلاثين عاما الماضية.

ثانيا مصر ليست إسلامية فقط. مصر إسلامية ومسيحية وبهائية وملحدة. مصر خليط ساحر من آراء ومعتقدات وجدت لكي تعبر عن نفسها بحرية في مناخ يفصل بين الدين والدولة والمتعصبون من أمثالك أنت وأعضاء جماعتك المتعطشين للسلطة والاستبداد لن يتمكنوا من تكميم الأفواه.

ثالثا كيف يسمح للعريان أن يبث سموم تعصبه الأعمى في جامعة القاهرة؟

أقول لك يا عريان بعد عشرين سنة من اغتيال أصدقائكم في الجماعة الإسلامية البطل فرج فودة إن مصر علمانية يعيش فيها أبناء كل العقائد والديانات في سلام واحترام متبادل.

Assholes Exposed

One thing I really like about the Jan 25 revolution is that it is exposing a lot of hypocricy and assholiness (one example in my previous post).

Another asshole is the salafi preacher Abdel Moneim al-Shahat who said that: "legislation drawn up by the people is the most dangerous element of democracy."

Does this dickhead know what he is talking about? That's the whole idea of democracy you moron. If you don't like it, take your fundamentalist ass to Saudi Arabia.

He spewed some more shit about Christians and women which I am not going to go into.

And here's another asshole just to complete my little collection of the day.

Magdi Hussein, secretary general of the Islamic-oriented Labor Party, said during a visit to Tehran that Egypt’s revolution had been inspired by Iran’s 1979 revolution.

Can you believe this? Egypt's revolution inspired by Iran, one of the most repressive theocracies on the face of the earth???

Oh, and he says he intends to run for president. Well you are not getting my vote you, ayatollah ass licker.

Mustafa Al Fiqi is a Snake

Nominating Mustafa Al Fiqi to be the Arab League's Chief really made my blood boil.

His ridiculous assertions that he wasn't part of the Mubarak regime are pure bullshit.

He was a prominent member of corrupt and murderous regimes from the days of Nasser when he started his dirty political career with snitching on young political activists up till he became a close advisor of Hosni Mubarak.

In 2005 he became a member of parliament with the aid of the Mubarak vote rigging machine.

This slimy venomous snake can't just come now and say that he is not corrupt.

People like Al Fiqi make me sick. He should not have a place in a democratic free Egypt.

صحة مبارك

لما كان حسني مبارك رئيساً سجن إبراهيم عبس لأنه قال إن صحته تعبانة وبعد ما المظاهرات بدأت يوم خمسة وعشرين يناير طلع لنا مبارك على التلفزيون يوم ١ فبراير واتهم الثوار بأنهم شوية مخربين وعايزين يدمروا البلد وقال إنه مصمم على البقاء في الرئاسة حتى انتهاء فترة ولايته وهذا أعتبره إقرارا صريحا منه بأن صحته جيدة... طيب، إزاي فجأة بقى يا عيني مريض وعنده القلب مع إن كل التقارير بتقول إن حالته كويسة والسؤال هو: ليه حسني مبارك ما يتسجنش لغاية ما يحاكم محاكمة عادلة وياخذ جزاءه؟؟؟

محاكمة مبارك

اليوم قرر النائب العام حبس مبارك في مستشفى عسكري كي لا يهرب من التحقيق والمحاكمة. طبعا سيحاول محاميه فريد الديب المماطلة وتعطيل القرار بالقول إن حالته الصحية لا تسمح بنقله من شرم الشيخ.

حسني مبارك متهم بثلاث أنواع من الجرائم: إساءة استخدام السلطة، وسرقة المال العام، وقتل مواطنين مصريين والتنكيل بهم.

التهمتان الأوليان في رأيي ثانويتان، أما الثالثة فهي بشعة وخسيسة وشنيعة. إن الدموع لا تزال حتى اليوم تسقط من عيني كلما شاهدت صور شهداء الثورة.

محاكمة مبارك وإعدامه لن يشفي غليلي. فكل كلب قتل أو عذب أو أهان مواطنا مصريا خلال الثلاثين عاما الماضية أو حتى في عصر السادات وعبد الناصر أو من هم باقون على قيد الحياة من عصر الملكية كلهم يجب أن يحاكموا.

أنا، من حيث المبدأ، ضد تطبيق عقوبة الإعدام لكني أحترم القانون، والقانون المصري ينص على أن الإعدام شنقا هو عقوبة جريمة القتل مع سبق الإصرار والترصد.

The AYE's

OMG, as the young people say these days, AYE's (angry young Egyptians) have changed the face of Egypt and the world in the past few decades. Not necessarily in a good way, but they changed things in a big way.

When Sadat fucked up and ruled Egypt not like the president of a great nation but as عمدة ميت أبو الكوم, an AYE called Khaled Al Islambouli assassinated him.

Come the eighties, AYE's were allowed by Mubarak to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan with CIA money and some of them later "progressed" to become senior Al Qaeda scumbags.

They recruited more AYE's to do horrible things and one Mohammad Atta lead the group that brought down the world trade center on 911.

After AYT's brought down Bin Ali on the 14th of Jan, AYE's did the same to Mubarak with such courage and heroism that made us all believe that the revolution is a new era for Egypt, the Middle East and the world.

If the army, the Muslim Brothers or the salafis try to hijack the revolution, the AYE's will fry their asses.

Young people now must feel that they are living in a fair society that is not marginalising them into terrorism and crime and must be given equal opportunity in education and employment.

Sadly, it wasnt only Mubarak and his cronies who were corrupt. The whole society was either directly corrupt or condoning corruption in one form or the other (including you and me).

Some very big employers in Egypt have not advertised a job for decades simply because every single job is "given". This has to stop and I am not hearing anyone talking about it.

If I ever hear of someone's son being appointed where his father works, whether it is the presidency or Egyptian TV, I will burn myself Boazizi style

Egypt's Army

If the army is violently quashing peaceful demonstrators and arresting bloggers and is accused of torture and subjecting female detainees to virginity tests and if at the same time the salafis and muslim brothers are gaining ground, then I am worried about what will come next.

Maikel Nabil

I don't know what the blogger Maikel Nabil said about the army, but whatever it was he should not have been referred to a military tribunal. This is so wrong and makes me feel that the talk about freedom in Egypt is just delusional. This is shameful.
