Oppression at its fucking finest

If you havent seen this, read it and weep.

We should face reality and call things by their name. If indeed it is true that sexual harrassment is experienced by 98% of foreign women visitors and by 83% of Egyptian women and that 62% of Egyptian men admitted harassing women and 53% blame women for 'bringing it on', then we have a serious problem.

The only explanation is that we must be a nation of misogynist dick heads. Oppression has many forms in Egypt: political, economic, religious, social... but why are women bearing the brunt of it? And what does this say about us? How can someone believe that looking at woman's hair is a sin and at the same time go around physically assaulting women (veiled or not veiled) because he is "bored".

Who's fault is it that we reached this sad state? Its easy to blame it on our corrupt dysfunctional and incompetent government and the hysterical retarded sheikhs and clerics, but every single one of us is guilty really.

Its payback time for Bashir

Accusing the Sudanese president of genocide in Darfur is so sweet.

Not only because it serves justice to his victims, but also because it reminds Arab leaders that the international community will fry their big asses if they fuck up.

Saddam was executed and now its Bashir's turn. 18 more to go. How about setting the IAHC (The International Ass Hole Court) to try all the muftis and mullahs and sheikhs who spread hatred and ignorance like this asshole or maybe this one?

What did he do?

Its not the first time that something like this happens. An unemployed Egyptian walks up to the Israeli embassy in Cairo to ask for a work visa. Now everytime this happens, the applicant gets arrested for an unknown period of time. Why? Do these people break any law by doing what they did?

Ironic

I am not a fan of Abdel-Wahab al-Meseri, but can you see the irony?

Leader of Egyptian movement demanding end to Mubarak's rule dies...

hmmm... interesting

Sometimes I wonder about the bits that seemingly dont add up. Is the film "Loose Change" just a load of crap?
Note The New Yorker's quote of a former high-level intelligence official: “Whatever trail was left was left deliberately—for the FBI to chase.” [New Yorker, 10/1/01]. I dont think we'll ever find out and we'll live with the consequences for a very long time.
